It always has been SCAD-Nirman’s wish to develop students in an exceptional way. The staff of Anbu Illam (school for differently-abled children) have been taking extra initiative since 2010 to give special coaching to the students in such a way that they could attend the Tamil Nadu Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) State Board examinations. As a result, the disabled children are given special care and training by the SCAD staff to appear for the Board examination.

The Directorate of Government Examinations Chennai officially announce the SSLC examination timetable in January each year. The teachers take extra efforts to train the students even after school hours. The exams usually begin in March/April every year. So far 30 Students of  Anbu Illam  have passed the board exam.

They are further enrolled in the SCAD Community college/Industrial Training Institute to take up Job/Skill oriented   training to secure appropriate Jobs. We take pride in saying that our students are already working in MNCs and Government Services.
